Ingredients
- 1 can (400g) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 small carrot, grated
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg (or flax egg for vegan)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 burger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheese, ketchup, mustard
Instructions
- Prepare patties: In a bowl, mash black beans with a fork until mostly smooth. Add grated carrot, onion, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and egg. Mix until combined.
