Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets (about 180–200g each)
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds (white or a mix of white and black)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: lemon wedges and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare salmon: Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Make glaze: In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and honey.
- Coat with sesame: Brush salmon lightly with the soy-honey mixture, then press sesame seeds onto the top of each fillet.
- Cook salmon: Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place salmon fillets, sesame side down first, cook 4–5 minutes. Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes until salmon is cooked through and crust is golden.
- Serve: Garnish with lemon wedges and chopped green onions. Serve immediately with rice, quinoa, or a fresh salad.
