Instructions

  1. Cook Beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear beef strips until just browned (do not overcook). Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, melt butter and cook onion, garlic, and mushrooms until soft and golden.
  3. Make Sauce: Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir. Slowly add beef broth while whisking to avoid lumps. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard. Simmer until sauce thickens.
  4. Add Sour Cream: Lower heat and stir in sour cream until creamy and smooth.
  5. Combine: Return beef strips to the skillet, mix well, and cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
